The National Day celebration will culminate with the Grand Assembly at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in the capital on Saturday. Yesterday morning, a Full Rehearsal that gathered participants from all walks of life was held to ensure the ceremony will run smoothly and orderly.

Present to watch the rehearsal was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara. Also present were Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Datin Dayang Hajah Elinda binti C.A. Mohamed, the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, the Deputy Minister of Education.

In an interview with RTB, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat explained that in the final rehearsal every participants showed strong patriotism during their respective performance and hoped the enthusiasm continued until the actual day.   

The majority of participants are youths which is in line with this year's National Day theme "Menjayakan Wawasan Negara". More than one hundred and thirty teams will take part in the National Day parade.
