The mass Fardhu Maghrib and Isyak prayers, reading of Surah Yassin and Doa Kesyukuran, in conjunction with the 34th National Day celebration were also being held at all mosques, surau and religious halls nationwide. 

In the Tutong District, the focal point of the ceremony was at the Hassanal Bolkiah mosque in the Tutong Town. Present was Dato Paduka Awang Ahmaddin bin Haji Abd. Rahman, the Deputy Minister of Finance. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abd Wahab bin Apong and Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit, Members of the Legislative Council as well as Awang Haji Adnan bin Haji Adam, Acting Tutong District Officer.

In the Belait District, the ceremony was held at the Muhammad Jamalul Alam mosque in Kuala Belait. Present was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Industry. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin and Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin mohd siput, Members of the Legislative Council.

The Utama Mohammad Salleh mosque in Bangar town became the focal point for the ceremony in the Temburong District. Present was Awang Mohammed Reza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, the Permanent Secreary at the Prime Minister's Office. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, Member of the Legislative Council and Awang Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud, the Temburong District Officer.
