His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in the Titah in conjunction with the 34th National Day emphasises the importance of youth leading the country's development. His Majesty says the country needs the young generation to come forward to take the lead in development and give new life to all development efforts in the country. The country's hope to step much further as a developed nation, adds His Majesty, should be carried together by the young generation. In the Titah broadcast by Radio Television Brunei earlier this evening, His Majesty also touches on the need to maintain the country's peace and prosperity.   His Majesty adds the strengthening of "Maqasid Syar'iah" is a prerequisite for the nation to ensure it continues to reap the fruits of prosperity and security.
