His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah expresses hope that Brunei Darussalam will strive to truly make Al-Quran the source of reference in the life of its people.  His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam made the titah at the closing ceremony and prizes presentation of the National Musabaqah Al-Quran for Adults 1439 Hijrah/2018. 

It was held at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas last night.  In the titah His Majesty stresses the theme of the musabaqh, 'Al-Qur'an Sumber Kepimpinan Adil', or 'Al-Quran, the Source of Just Leadership' is most appropriate for leading the Muslim ummah to refer to Al-Quran in matters related to leadership.  According to His Majesty, the meaning of 'just' is placing something on its rightful elevated place.  Hence the Monarch ask, has the country really acted in such a way?
