CM Rubbishes Talk Of Sabah Foundation Going Bankrupt

As a multi-racial and multi-religious state and living in peace and harmony, the people should be discerning and not be taken in by news spread by the opposition, said Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.
He said the people of Sabah, well known for its many ethnicities and religious beliefs, want to live in peace and harmony.
News that Sabah Foundation will be bankrupt, will be restructured and almost sold are all empty talk, he said, when launching the Sabah Foundation With The People Roadshow, south-eastern zone level, Career, Entrepreneurship and Mobile CTC Carnival at the Tawau Municipal Council town field yesterday.
He said Sabah Foundation today had millions worth of assets which were for the people and their children.
Musa said the Barisan Nasional (BN) government had always strived for the best for the people and had never kept quiet nor stopped with its efforts to help the people.
He said the roadshow showed the government¡¯s efforts to provide information, job career, entrepreneurship opportunity for people to get job and business, to help them succeed, move forward and compete in their respective fields.
The phase three Tawau dam that cost RM450 million and Pan Borneo road project are among the many developments in the state that Tawau will also benefit from, he said, adding that the Sabah International Convention Centre would be an added benefit for the people.
