Excellent Student Prize Presentation

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

As an incentive to encourage students to work harder in the future, the Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School yesterday morning organised an Excellent Student Prize Presentation for Primary School Assessment 2017 session. The event was held at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Mutawakillah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampung Serusop.

 

Among the recipient was Pengiran Qaiyimah Nurul Bolkiah binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Hakimmuddin, the granddaughter of His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. A total of 162 pupils received the best student prize and 6 of them were the recipients under the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB; the Community Development Department, JAPEM; BIBD Alaf as well as the school's lower socio-economy aid. Meanwhile 12 teachers or tutors received appreciation prize for their efforts and contribution in teaching the students.

 

Prizes were presented by Dayang Hajijah binti Haji Moktal, Acting Director of Islamic Studies Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Also in attendance was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hajah Taiyibah Qalbul Bolqiah binti His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. Also present was Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religion) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
