His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman who is on a two-day visit to the country. The Audience Ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

 

During the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi discussed bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as exchanged views on regional and international matters. Accompanying His Excellency Sayyid Badr was His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil Al Maskari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
