Gambling Activity Foiled

Four suspects have been detained at the Berakas Police Station for further investigation after being found to be involved in gambling activities last night. All the suspects are locals aged between 20 to 50 years. The arrests were made by the Berakas Police Station personnel in a raid at a house in Jalan Bedil, Jalan Pasir Berakas.

 

During the raid, the police found a number of equipment used for the gambling activity and cash money also believed to be used in the gambling activity. All the items were seized. The raid was led by Assistant Crime Investigation Officer, Brunei Muara District Police, Assistant Superintendent of Police Nurol Faezah binti Mohd Faisal Al-Sufri on information shared by the public on suspicious activities at the house.

 

The Brunei Muara District Police, Royal Brunei Police Force welcomes the support of the public in assisting the police in preventing criminal activities in village areas by providing information that can result in appropriate actions taken. The public who knows or has information on criminal activities are urged to report to or contact any nearby police stations or contact the police hotline 993.
