A tourist seen drying clothes at the road divider between Suria Sabah and Gaya Centre Hotel.

Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai yesterday inspected the road divider between Suria Sabah and Gaya Centre Hotel where tourists had dried their clothes yesterday.

Photos of the incident have been shared on WhatsApp.

However, no clothes were found there during the inspection by Yeo, who also met with the Gaya Centre Hotel director Justin Chong, with the latter assuring that he would advise his guests not to dry clothes in a public area.

Chong said the hotel provides laundry services at reasonable prices.

Yeo said the matter would be monitored by City Hall enforcement personnel.
