Sportsmanship and teamwork were the order of the day as St Angela's School (SAS) held its Annual Sports Meet 2016 recently at the Anthony Abell College Sports Complex.

The event was attended by teachers, ex-students of SAS and supporters. According to a press release, there were three competing teams this year: Green House, Yellow House and Blue House.

The highlight of the event was the 4x100 metre invitational relay which saw participation from several private schools in the Belait District. The gold medals were won by Chung Ching Middle School for both male and female categories.

Other participating schools were Chung Hua Middle School, St Margaret's School and St James' School.

The overall champion of the event was the Blue House, which has won the championship trophy for the last three years.
