26th Brunei Age Group Swimming Championship

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman, yesterday afternoon watched the 26th Brunei Age Group Swimming Championship. The championship takes place at the National Swimming Pool of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
Also in attendance were the sons and daughter of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim; Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman.
In the championship, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim, represented ISB Hammerheads won third place in the 50-metre backstroke. Yang Teramat Mulia recorded his personal best in the category with 48 point 5-5 seconds.
Meanwhile, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, also representing ISB Hammerheads created the fastest record of 59 point 6-3 seconds in 50-metre backstroke girls category. Yang Teramat Mulia also emerged as the best for the 7-year-old girls age group.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince presented the medal to Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah. The 3-day championship was organised by the Brunei Amateur Swimming Association and supported by the Youth and Sports Department.
