BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

A Bangladesh man was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate Court yesterday for offences under the Excise Order 2006. Sabuj Miah, was found guilty for possessing 80 cartons of various brands of cigarette in a car. Sabuj was apprehended in a roadblock in front of Zainab Mosque in Lumut carried out by the Royal Brunei Police Force. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for failure to pay a 64-thousand dollars fine.
