Local Man Accused of Possessing Dangerous Weapon Released on Bail

The Bandar Magistrate's Court has agreed for a local man who is accused of possessing a dangerous weapon to be released on a bail of BND$5,000 or one local surety.
The forty-three-year-old defendant, Shamsul Bahri bin Abdullah, was released on bail after being charged for being in possession of a sharp weapon near Jalan McArthur on May 12, 2016 at 6.45am.
Chief Magistrate Muhammed Faisal bin Pehin Dato Kefli Haji Kefli allowed the release of the defendant on bail on condition he reports himself to the Central Police Station once a week, sticks to a 7pm to 7am curfew imposed, and that no offense be committed throughout the duration of the case.
The case will be further mentioned on June 2, 2016.
