Man Charged for Consuming Drug, Vandalism, Trespassing & Assaulting

A thirty-year-old man has been charged on seven counts of consuming Class A drug, vandalism, trespassing private property twice and assaulting a police officer. He faces up to two years' imprisonment with two strokes and fine of BND$1,500 or three additional months in default.
Mohammad Hafizuddien Aqil Abdullah Qayyum Sia bin Abdullah @ Sia Kok Jiang, on December 5, 2015 was found to have consumed Class A controlled drug, Methylamphetamine, in contravention of Section 6(b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act, Chapter 27, and has therefore committed an offence punishable under Section 29 read with the Second Schedule of the said Act with imprisonment of a maximum of 10 years and a maximum fine of BND$20,000.
The defendant was also charged with vandalising private property on January 13, 2016 at Kampong Jangsak causing damage amounting to $780, which is punishable under Section 427 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22 with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years and with whipping with not less than two strokes.
On March 12, 2016, the defendant also damaged government property in Kampong Jangsak by hitting a water pipe with a spanner and has committed an offence punishable under Section 426 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22 with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year and fine.
The defendant was also charged with trespassing private property in Tutong with the intent of intimidating the owner on March 26, 2016 at about 7.15pm and has therefore committed an offence of criminal trespass under Section 441 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22 and is punishable under Section 447 of the same - imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years with fine.
On Apri113, 2016 at about 8am, the defendant trespassed a property at Kampong Beribi with the intention of annoying the resident and has been charged under Section 441 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22, which is punishable under Section 447 of the same, which carries imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and fine.
On April 13, 2016 at about 9.20am at Kampong Beribi, the defendant resisted arrest and used criminal force on a policeman on duty by kicking his right leg and has therefore committed an offence punishable under Section 353 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22, which reads imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years and fine.
On the same day, the defendant committed an offence punishable under Section 426 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22 by hitting his head on the car roof belonging to the Royal Brunei Police Force, which carries a penalty of imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year and with fine.
