The Batu Marang Primary School recently held a celebration to commemorate Israk Mikraj 1437 Hijrah at the Kampong Batu Marang Mosque, attended by the school's Principal, Dayang Harifah Kalijah binti Mohammad, as well as around 140 students from pre-school to Year 6, teachers and staff members.

The event began with recitations of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin, followed by a religious talk on the theme of this year's Israk Mikraj celebration - 'Sembahyang Kunci Syurga' (Prayer the Key to Heaven), which was delivered by Cikgu Sufri bin Haji Mohd AB, who talked about the history of Israk Mikraj as well as its importance, while urging students to always obey Islamic teachings.
