First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Acting Minister of Defence, recently received a courtesy call from H. E. Amphay Kindavong, Ambassador of Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) to Brunei Darussalam, according to a press release.

 

During the call, both sides expressed pleasure at the progress of bilateral relations between the two countries, notably in defence.

 

Both sides also expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the Asean Defence Ministers Meeting (ADMM) related meetings in Lao PDR so far, as well as anticipation for the upcoming ADMM later next week.

 

Also present during the courtesy call was Awang Abu Sufian bin Haji Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development) at the Ministry of Defence.

 

The call ended with an exchange of gifts.
