Brunei Citizens Reportedly Safe Following Recent Bomb Attack in Lahore, Pakistan

LAHORE, PAKISTAN
Following the recent bomb attack at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in the eastern city of Lahore, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad has confirmed that all Brunei Darussalam citizens in the country are safe.
His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd) General Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin @ Haji Md Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan when contacted said they will monitor the situation from time to time.
To date, the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, said no Brunei citizens are involved in the incident.
All officials at the Brunei Darussalam High Commission and their families in Islamabad as well as a Bruneian family in Lahore have been contacted and they are all in safe conditions.
