In an effort to help the needs of blood stock for the Blood Donation Centre, Cityneon Brunei in cooperation with the blood center of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital yesterday held its second blood donation drive which took place at Cityneon Displays and Construction Sdn Bhd Office in Beribi.

The blood donation drive yesterday ran from 9am to 2pm.

The blood donors underwent health screening processes which included blood sugar level checks, pulse rate, blood pressure and others.

In an interview, the Operations Manager of Cityneon, Marvin Lim, said that the aim of the event was to encourage the employees and staff members to take part in its social responsibility initiatives and also, to raise awareness on the significance of voluntary blood donation among them.

He hoped to conduct such similar event again in the future.

Among the participants of the blood donation drive were the employees and staff members of Cityneon Brunei well as members of the public.
