1k Ultraman Fans Turned Up at Jerudong Park Amphitheatre

To relive childhood memories and share their joy with their children, more than 1,000 Ultraman fans turned up for the last show of Ultraman Live in Brunei 2016 last night at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre.
The storyline revolves around teamwork and determination in overcoming challenges and obstacles and featured eight Ultraman characters battling against seven monster characters who appear throughout the Ultraman franchise.
Members of the audience sitting in seats closer to the stage could see up close the characters' realistic costumes, and in addition to the high flying fight scenes, the performance was enhanced by a mix of holograms and pyrotechnics.
The fans could also purchase Ultraman merchandise and have their photo taken with Ultraman characters in a special photo session.
In an interview, a representative of the organiser, HCBC services, said the live Ultraman stage performance began in Japan and from there they decided to bring it to the international audience.
The live stage performance has been brought to countries such as Hong-Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.
