Universiti Brunei Darussalam's (UBD) Pranika Lama and Julius Hong, who emerged champions at a Toastmasters Speech Contest on Sunday, will be representing Brunei against Toastmasters from Sabah in the Division K level in Sandakan on April 10.

Lama, Champion of International Speech category, talked about how appreciative we should be towards parents in her 'Open your Eyes' speech.

Second-placed Pooja Shivanand spoke about "The Middle Way" and third-placed Rahmat Tarsat drew from her mother's experiences to demonstrate the detrimental effect of negative thinking in her speech, 'Believe and You Can'.

Meanwhile, Hong finished first in the Table Topic category.

In second and third were Yong Shih Ching and Hazwan Kamarulzaman respectively.

Area K6 Director Allen Ang presented the prizes.
