The Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) urged the public to participate in the Blood Donation Day 2016 event to be held today at the Lexus showroom, NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, Gadong from 10am to 2pm.

The event, carrying the theme 'Give Blood, Save Life', is part of the Rotary Club of BSB's annual activity and encourages more people to become blood donors in support of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Bank.

The club started the blood donation campaign in 2005, holding it once a year at different venues. In 2008, the Rotarians decided to make blood donation as a Signature Rotary Project with one aim to make a difference (MAD) to fulfil the club's social responsibility for the Brunei community.

The club had established a strategic partnership with NBT Brunei to use the Lexus showroom as the venue for the campaign for two to three times a year. It is an important event for the donors, hospital blood bank, local community and Rotarians.
