3 Out of 5 Youths Nabbed Spill Beans on Motorcycle Theft

City police arrested five youths in their early twenties for alleged involvement in motorcycle theft yesterday afternoon, with three confessing to the crime.

 

During the arrests made at 1pm, the cops also uncovered two motorcycles and a dismantled motorcycle. The raid was held at a house in Pujut Tanjung Batu here. All the male suspects have being detained under police custody at Miri central police station (CPS) to facilitate investigations into the on-going case.

 

The arrests were made after receiving a public tip-off. Three of the five suspects have admitted to stealing those motorcycles according to their statements made to police.
