The new Tamu Sungai Kianggeh Complex started its operation today. The modern design complex is designed to provide comfort and convenience to the public and also the stall operators.

With a floor area of 4,450 square metre, the complex is located at the banks of Kianggeh river and next to the previous Tamu Sungai Kianggeh.

The complex consists of 8 blocks; 5 blocks provide 147 stalls for vendors who run their business daily while 3 others provide 164 stalls for vendors who run their business on Fridays and Sundays.

The complex also provides other facilities such as men and women's prayer room; public toilet; parking area; administration office; Royal Brunei Police Force security control room and others.

The vendors are pleased with the development and expressed their gratitude towards His Majesty's government for the due attention on the welfare of the people in the country.

The new Tamu Sungai Kianggeh Complex is open from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening. The complex is hoped to facilitate the vendor’s business activities other than to attract visitors to the area.
