Princess Hajah Masna Consented to Attend 25th Anniversary of Brunei-China Diplomatic Relations Reception

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade began the 4th day of her visit to the People’s Republic of China, with a tour to the Forbidden City in Beijing.

 

In the evening, she attended the Joint Reception to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Brunei-China Diplomatic Relations, co-organised by the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in People’s Republic of China, and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).

During the event, Her Royal Highness, as the guest of honor, delivered a sabda, where she reiterated Brunei’s adherence to the One-China Policy and bilateral relations based on mutual respect and trust.

 

Her Royal Highness acknowledged the development of Brunei-China relations over the past 25 years which covers many areas of cooperation including energy, infrastructure and people-to-people cooperation.

 

Zhang Qingli, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPCC), was the representative from the People’s Republic of China.

 

The reception was also attended by officials from the Government of People’s Republic of China, friendship association and diplomatic corps.

 

Throughout the visit, Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.

 

Her Royal Highness is visiting People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China as part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.
