His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to receive in audience His Excellency Mark Garnier MP, United Kingdom Trade Envoy to Brunei Darussalam, who is currently in the country on a working visit. The Audience Ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

During the audience, His Majesty and His Excellency discussed bilateral economic cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom.

Accompanying His Excellency during the audience ceremony was His Excellency David Campbell, British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
