SMB Holds Family Day Celebration

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA

 

The Berakas Secondary School (SMB) yesterday held a family day celebration at the school's premises. The event ran from 8am to 2pm.

 

Present as the guest of honour during the celebration yesterday was Pengiran Roslan bin Pengiran Haji Tuah, the Village Head of Kampong Delima Satu Pengiran Siraja Muda in his capacity as the Acting Village Head of Kampong Serusop.

 

Pengiran Roslan, in his speech, hoped that the celebration would be able to nurture and foster the ties between family and friends who were present at the event.

 

The school's Principal, Awang Abdullah bin Ismail, also said that the event aimed to promote unity and understanding between the school staffs, students as well as their family members.

 

The celebration yesterday was filled with fun activities, which included tug-of-war, exhibition of students' projects, mini games and many others.

 

The celebration was further enlivened with the participation of 26 vendors selling various interesting products as well as food and drinks.

 

The celebration ended with a prize presentation ceremony to the winners of each respective games presented by the guest of honour.
