Kampong Setia Village Consultative Council members and mosque committee members held Tahlil and Doa Arwah prayers for the departed at the village's primary school in Kampong Ayer.

Present was Awang Haji Mohammad Sunadi bin Haji Buntar, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs; and Pateh Dato Paduka Haji Masri bin Ismail, Penghulu of Mukim Sungai Kebun.

Donations were also presented by Awang Haji Asli bin Haji Mamut, Village Head of Kampong Setia 'A', to two orphans in the village, courtesy of an anonymous contributor.

The Tahlil and Doa Arwah was led by Awang Mohammad Hamirul Hashim bin Haji Hassan, a student from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).

The event was held to foster closer ties and is part of their annual activity.
