His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Sailuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday sent congratulatory messages to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and The Rt Hon David Cameron MP, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as well as members of the royal family, and the people of Britain and the Commonwealth on the occasion of the 90th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
In the message to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction that the long-standing ties between the two countries have strengthened in the past year, reflecting the continued close friendship and much-valued cooperation between the two people and governments.
In ending the message to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and best wishes for Her Majesty the Queen's good health and happiness.
In his message to David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, His Majesty extended his warmest congratulations and also to the Government and people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as they celebrate the happy occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 90th birthday.
His Majesty also looked forward to continuing work with the British Prime Minister to strengthen the warm and close ties of friendship and cooperation long enjoyed by the two countries and people.
His Majesty concluded his message to the British Prime Minister by extending his kindest regards and best wishes for his continued good health and happiness.
