His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to send a message of congratulations to Vladimir Putin, President of The Russian Federation on the occasion of the National Day of the Russian Federation.

In the message, His Majesty greatly appreciated the warm friendship and much-valued cooperation enjoyed by the two countries and looked forward to future opportunities in enhancing these important ties.
