Friends on the making! On March 5, 2016 our kindergarten students, ranging from KG1 to KG3 had a 'Friendship Day'.
The activity does not really focus on academic excellence, instead it strives to bring out the solitariness of the community. It also encourages the kids to make friends from different levels, or in other words, they were taught to be sociable, as a major part of our future society.
Our kindergarten students were exposed to teambuilding activities with other students. The event is hosted annually and parents are surely invited to support their kids.
A colouring contest was done as a part of the Friendship Day activities.
Playing with colours is very fun. The ability to materialise your imagination is an amazing thing, as our kindergarten students learnt during the colouring contest.
We can expect great things from our 'little artists' in the future. As our students from primary onwards have their assembly so do our kindergarteners.
They have a 'mini assembly' which is conducted once in a month - they sing songs and play games, they sing the National Anthem in the beginning of the assembly.
The real purpose behind the assembly is to incorporate self-confidence and to enjoy learning.
