BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA
Syahkampong FC will be hoping to go one better in the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 after falling short last year to a place in the regionals at the Indoor Stadium.
Matahari qualified for a berth at the Standard Chartered Trophy Regionals last year to represent Brunei and compete against the winners in Malaysia and Thailand after edging Syahkampong 2-0 in the Brunei leg final.
Syahkampong announced their return this year and face a tricky customer in BSP FT with AMBD 2 completing the three-member group.
Whilst breathing on air of excitement in one of the famous grounds in world football, Anfield, convenience and comfort viewing for the SC Cup winners will be unparalleled at an exclusive box seat.
The winning team will also have the chance to catch a training session at the LFC academy and meet a Liverpool legend.
Standard Chartered Bank Head of Corporate Affairs Marilyn Graeme said that even a playing member of a non-Liverpool supporter will be able to appreciate the chance to watch a match of English Premier League standard.
The winners of the tournament which will also feature title contenders Shah United FC will fly directly to United Kingdom and earn a rare opportunity of watching Liverpool host Watford in the Premier League on May 7.
