A total of 27 students have been selected to undergo the Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Programme at Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB) yesterday.

Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in his capacity as guest of honour, handed over the Mushaf Al-Quran and Kitab Qiraat to the undergraduates.

The event commenced with the Sunnah Hajat prayer led by Ustaz Haji Mutiaa Alkabani Mahmoud, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin by Muhammad Abbasy Syu'aib bin Idris, a diploma undergraduate.

The reading of Ratib Al-Attas was then led by Muhammad Husnul Arif bin Hassan, another diploma undergraduate. The pledge for the undergraduates was led by Muhammad Fathurrahman bin Embran.

The event concluded with the reading of the Doa Selamat by Ustaz Haji Helmi bin Haji Salim, an instructor of ITQSHHB.
