The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and its departments continued a series of Tedarus ceremonies in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan at Kampong Pintu Malim Mosque where the guest of honour was the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance II, Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim.

Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Roselan bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, heads of department as well as officers and personnel.

The event which was jointly organised by PMO, Department of Economic Planning and Development, Audit Department and Public Service Department (PSD) began with mass Asar prayer led by the mosque's Imam, Haji Muhammad Azrol Alim bin Haji A Zaini.

It was followed by the presentation of Waqaf in the form of one set of PA system, two standing fans, corpse bathing platform, and banquet chairs by 1he guest of honour.

The ceremony continued with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Al-Quran from Juz One to 15. The congregation proceeded to hold a Tahlil, Doa Arwah and Doa Selamat.

The event concluded with the breaking the fast and mass Maghrib prayer.

The PMO organises religious events during Ramadhan to strengthen ties amongst officers and staff as well as the mosque congregation and villagers. It also aims to gain blessings and rewards from Allah the Almighty in this holy month.
