Glastonbury Weather: Festival Site Looks Like A Mud Pit Before Anyone’s Even Got There

Wellies and boats may be needed (Picture: Apex)

If you’re going to Glastonbury Festival this weekend two things need to happen because it’s already looking pretty flooded.

The first thing is a miracle, the second is two days of record-breakingly hot weather to dry out the fields.

Before any festival-goers even set foot on the site, there’s a bit of a problem with the weather.

Parts of the site are already under a foot of water and with more rain on the way, it doesn’t look like things are going to improve.

There were heavy downpours on Friday and Sunday, more rain was predicted for today and there’s a strong likelihood that there will be more rain this week.

The Met Office says while it will be largely dry, there are likely to be showers with Saturday looking like it’s going to be the wettest day of the festival.
