The Fire and Rescue Department personnel yesterday conducted a cleaning campaign and Tahlil for the department's late personnel at Kampong Tamoi Muslim cemetery.

Present were the Director of Fire and Rescue, Yahya bin Haji Abdul Rahman as well as fire prevention staff, Special Squad and Operation Unit personnel.

It was an annual religious event arranged during the month of Ramadhan in remembrance of former personnel who have passed away.

Similar welfare activities will be held in other districts to be led by the Officer-in-Command of the branch.
