Shoreditch lovers rejoice, you can now purchase air from the area.

Fans will be able to waft in the smell of the trendy east London district from the comfort of their own home and it will only cost £19.99 (plus £10 post and packaging).

That may sound steep but remember what you’re getting – an aroma that probably consists of exhaust fumes and alcohol.

You’ll also get to choose between an AM and PM smell, according to the Shoreditch Air website.

If you’re not a fan of the distinct fragrance you can also purchase Brixton Air and Croydon Air apparently.

‘We’re Shoreditch Air and we bottle the finest of London’s Air, so if you’re missing home or would just like to get an idea of what London smells like you’ve come to the right place,’ it says on the company’s About Us page.

‘More areas and editions of London Air coming soon!’

We’re not sure if this is all tongue in cheek or an early April Fools Day story but we hope it is.

A Twitter user who claims to be the creator of ShoreditchAir has contacted metro.co.uk and swears the product is real.
