Teacher Abused After Her Adorable Dogs Were Advertised As ‘Terror Puppies’

The terror pups aren’t so terrifying after all (Picture: Liverpool Echo Syndication)

Cute puppies named Daisy, Honeysuckle and Buttercup struck fear into the hearts of dozens of people – thanks to a spelling mistake.

Their owner Susannah Davies was bombarded with messages of abuse when the ‘for sale’ dogs were accidentally advertised as ‘terror puppies’.

In fact, they are terriers – but the error led to the 25-year-old maths teacher receiving a number of calls and texts from people abusing her.

It has been so bad that she has had to change her phone number, and she said: ‘I have pages and pages of texts telling me what a horrible person I am.’

Susannah, from St Helens, Merseyside, advertised the puppies after her Jack Russell Fudge gave birth to a litter. Their dad is Rodger, a Patterdale terrier.

Susannah said: ‘I’m the world’s biggest softie for dogs and they are the most adorable puppies.

‘You could hardly describe them as terror dogs, they are so tiny and cute.

‘One of them is pure white with black eyes and looks like a little Panda.

‘I named all the girls after flowers: Daisy, Lilliput, Honeysuckle, Primrose and Buttercup, not the sort of names to strike terror into your heart.

‘I can’t believe that people thought I was advertising vicious pups. They look the absolute opposite of terror dogs.’

She has advertised them for sale at £350 for the girls and £300 for the boys.
