The Brunei Fuzhou Shiyyi Association yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zhouyuan Iskandar, which is under Zhuoda Group and IIB JV Co, to host the first Invest in Malaysia Forum on August 12, 2016 at the Orchid Garden Hotel.

Signing on behalf of the association was its President Jackson Ting, while signing for Zhouyuan Iskandar was Crystal Sam, the Marketing Manager who represented Yang Han Qing, the Chair of the Group.

Under the MoU, the association will receive regular investment updates and e-newsletters issued by Zhouyuan Iskandar and also attend promotional events.

A presentation on the Central Zone Iskandar Malaysia, especially the Medini Project, was also held yesterday.

BC Lifestyle Properties has been appointed the local property agent for the Medini luxury apartments called `Paradiso Nuova'.

Jackson Ting said now is a good time to invest in property in Malaysia as the property prices are still affordable amidst the current economic downturn.

He added that the prices may rise as a property boom is expected in Malaysia by 2018.

He said members of his association are looking forward to conducting a trip to survey the investment opportunities in the Medini project following the signing of the MoU which is the first one signed by Zhouyuan Iskandar with an organisation in an Asean member country.
