KAMPONG BERIBI, GADONG

Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd has urged owners of Honda vehicles affected by the Takata airbag recall to get their vehicles checked and parts replaced as soon as possible upon receipt of the notification letter following a directive from Honda Motor Co Ltd announcing a precautionary product update campaign for Takata front passenger airbag for a range of models.

The affected Honda models are Accord 2003-2011, Odyssey 20042008, Jazz 2009, 2011, Civic 20092011 and CR-V 2009-2011.

A total of 1,071 units of Honda vehicles are affected.

Customers of the affected models would be notified by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd via notification letters sent to their last known address providing details of the product update.

Customers who receive these letters are advised to send their vehicles to Happy Motoring for inspection.

Customers of the affected models may also contact Happy Motoring's reception at 242 8328 (Kamisah ext 131 / Yusrinah ext 132) during office hours to make appointment for inspection.

The precautionary measure does not affect Honda's current models selling in Brunei Darussalam, according to the company.
