The Department of Administration and Services, Ministry of Education (MoE) yesterday held a Khatam AlQuran and presented donations to orphans.

The ceremony took place in Surau Utama at the MoE's old building.

The event's guest of honour was Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Halus, the Acting Director of the Administration and Services Department.

The ceremony commenced with a Surah Al-Fatihah recitation led by the acting director, followed by Tahlil, Doa Arwah and Doa Khatam, then the presentation of donations to some 20 orphans by the guest of honour together with Hajah Honeyta binti Haji Mustapha, the Assistant Director of Finance and Supplies, MoE.
