The Ministry of Communications (MinCom) and the departments under it held a ceremony to present donations to 46 orphans yesterday.

Held at the Amar Pahlawan Hall of the Ministry of Communications building at Jalan Menteri Besar, the event saw the attendance of Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Minister of Communications as the guest of honour.

Also present was Haji Azhar bin Haji Ahmad, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, along with
heads of departments and sections, deputy heads, senior officers as well as officers and staff of the Ministry of Communications and the departments under it.

The event began with the recitation, of Surah Al-Fatihah, which was followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, led by Muhammad Syafie Firdaus bin Tasad.

The ceremony then continued with the presentation of donations to 46 orphans from the ministry and the departments under it. The Minister of Communications presented the donations.

The event ended with a Doa Selamat.
