54 Orphans Received Donations from Ministry of Development

In line with the festive season of goodwill and generosity, 54 orphans received donations presented by the guest of honour, Minister of Development, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah at a ceremony yesterday.


The contributions came from officers and staff of the Ministry of Development (MoD) and the departments under it.


The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Muhammad Khairul bin Jackariah.


The annual activity by the MoD aims to inculcate awareness of the welfare of orphans and encourage more religious activities in the month of Ramadhan.


The other attendees included Deputy Minister of Development, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar; Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the MoD, Haji Muhammad Lutfi bin Abdullah; Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional) at the MoD, Eddie bin Dato Paduka Haji Sunny; and Deputy Permanent Secretary at the MoD, Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin.
