Members of the National Committee for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 70th birthday celebrations held a Ratib Al-Attas recitation ceremony at the Surau of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), Bandar Seri Begawan.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs, in his capacity as the Chairman of National Committee.

The ceremony was held to ask Allah the Almighty to bless and grant safety for the ceremonies and events to be held for the birthday celebrations.

Also present were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, in his capacity as the Prime Adviser to the National Committee; and other senior officials.
