Diners can now enjoy a bowl of hearty beef noodle soup at the DeliBistro Café with tasty flavours from Kota Kinabalu's renowned beef noodle restaurant, Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap'.
Various choices of beef are offered, which include the beef tendon, beef tripe, beef intestine, sliced beef, beef balls and braised beef served in a beef broth that is well-flavoured.
Diners can then pick their preference of noodles to go along with the beef, such as the yellow noodle, kueh teow, bee boon or rice.
One of the bestselling beef noodle dishes is the Beef Chap with Noodles, which offers a mixture of different kinds of beef - beef tripe, beef ball, sliced beef and braised beef - and radish.
Johnny Yong Keh Yin, founder of the beef noodles, said that his passion for cooking started when he was still young. He explained that when he was still studying, he worked part time at a restaurant where he learned cooking.
He came up with his own signature dish in 2004 and then continued to improvise it to become what it is now.
As of today, Johnny has established six branches of his restaurant in Sabah, one in Miri, one in Kuala Lumpur and one in Brunei.
