The Parkview Hotel's management recently organised a Corporate, Association and Media Appreciation Night at its Barakah Hall, where they also announced the appointment of Maria Aires as the establishment's new ambassador, marking another milestone for the hotel.

Signing  the one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maria Aires was the hotel's Executive Director, Awang Hambali bin Pehin Orang Kayak Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Md Salleh, witnessed by Managing Director Tan Kahn Boon.

The announcement came as a surprise, which added towards the excitement of the hotel's first ever appreciation night.

In his welcoming speech,  Executive Director Awang Hambali highlighted that the event was held to show appreciation to all the establishments, associations, media personnel and individuals for their continuous cooperation and utmost support for the organisation.

"We realise that at times there is a lack of support from relevant authorities. However, despite all this, Parkview Hotel has partnered with some very small associations to well-known organisations in the past, which have proven to be effective and successful," he said, adding that it is important to stick together and work with one another to attract more international events to be hosted in the country.

The function, attended by representatives from non-government organisations, well-established companies and other loyal clients, was further enlivened by stage performances, delicious fine dining dishes, local talents' showcase and a lucky draw.
