Voice coach and music teacher Dayang Syahminah Rasyidah Noor Faizal Eddy @ Sharon Ojeda Jusay will be conducting a series of one-day workshops entitled 'Improve Your Voice in 1 Day' at Neo Classic Music School from August 12-14 at 2 tc 5pm.

The workshop is particularly beneficial for classroom teachers speakers, actors and singers, as well as anyone wishing to improve their voice or learn how to sing.

The workshop's participants can expect to learn vital vocal techniques and exercises that will develop as well as enhance their vocal stamina and strength.

The last day to register is on August 8.

Syahminah (Sharon) has coached hundreds of singers and students, including rising artiste Veenea Nair, who recently won a scholarship and a recording contract with Indasoul Entertainment in the US after havingwon many medals at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Long Beach, California, this year.

Sharon has also coached Jude Talabis Concon, who won fourth place among 21 contenders last year at the EuroPop Singing Competition in Berlin, Germany.

Sharon herself has performed as pianist and singer in China, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA.

She also coached the actors for the musicals 'Mary Poppins' and 'Belle' in collaboration with Relentless Studios.

"There are hundreds of vocal exercises out there, yet there are some very effective ones that produce immediate results," said the coach.

"Participants will be able to use these techniques and exercises in their daily lives and improve the quality of their voices within a shorter period of time, with some producing results within minutes."
