Land Survey Authorised For Ecological And Technology Transfer Park In Vientiane Province

VIENTIANE

 

The Ministry of Sciences and Technology of Vientiane Province and the AMZ Group Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on a land survey project for the development of an Ecological and Technology Transfer Park in Vientiane Province.

 

The park will be located in the districts of Muen and Vang Vieng.

 

The agreement was signed in Vientiane Capital on Aug 9 by Deputy Director of the Planning and Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Sciences and Technology Mr Phimpha Outthachak, President of the AMZ Group Mr Alivan Sithara, and Director of the Vientiane Provincial Administration Office, Mr Khamphuthone Thepsouphong.

 

The Ecological and Technology Transfer Park will serve as a science and technology research centre and a tourist attraction.

 

The park will also be designed to promote the development of agriculture and infrastructure in the province and thereby improve the economy.

 

The signing event was witnessed by Minister of Sciences and Technology Boviengkham Vongdara and relevant officials of both sides.
