With only two hours flight away from Brunei Darussalam, Singapore remained one of the popular tourism destination for Bruneian and for 2016, there are many fresh reasons to visit the Lion City again.

 

Updating the local media on the fun filled and fantastic holidays in Singapore yesterday are Adrian Kong, Area Director for Philippines and Brunei with Mary Grace Cuenca, Manager for Philippines and Brunei International Group from Singapore Tourism Board.

 

Adrian Kong highlighted "Singapore takes pride in making every visit to Singapore fresh and invigorating as we continue to introduce new and innovative concepts in the areas of dining, retails and sightseeing as well as an array of world class events."

 

One of the latest family fun attractions is the Pororo Park Singapore. The Pororo Park Singapore is the first
edutainment playground in Southeast Asia and the largest character themed playground in Singapore.

 

Another great visit for family rounded fun digital learning experience is MOSH!, an interactive digital multimedia theme park newly opened in Sentosa that showcases cutting edge technology from Japan to allow visitors the artistic power to express their creativity through edutainment.

 

The soon to be open this month, KidZania Singapore is expected to attract scores of children to experience their ambition in different occupations where they can role-play in over 80 different jobs.

 

Known as the shopping mecca in the region, the Great Singapore Sales will kick start in June this year instead of May and no trip to Singapore is complete without shopping for the latest and unique fins at the malls along world famous shopping strip at Orchard or at the cosy vintage shops of Haji Lane or Tiong Bahru.

 

For luxury shopping, Capitol Piazza is the place where is houses a wide selection of international and local retails brands.

 

While on Halal cuisine, Singapore has retained its top spot as the preferred non-Muslim destination for Muslim travellers according to the Crescentrating and MasterCard Travel Survey 2015 proving that there is no shortage of Halal dining choices in Singapore.

The Area Director for Philippines and Brunei also revealed the upcoming exciting events in Singapore namely the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series held in Singapore from April 16-17 and the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix to be held from September 16-18 while the BNP Paribas WTA finals is set from October 23-30.
