The Youth and Sports Department under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, has announced that the Birthday Run 2016 which was scheduled to be held on September 18, has been advanced to September 4 in all four districts.

The event will be held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in the Brunei-Muara District, Mumong Sports Complex in the Belait District, Tutong Sports Complex in the Tutong District and Temburong Sports Complex in the Temburong District.

Participants in the Brunei-Muara District can make their registration at Media Room, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium starting August 22 from 9am till 11.30am and from 2pm till 3pm.

Completed forms together with a registration fee of $15 for each person must be submitted not later than August 27 by 3.30pm.

Collection of T-shirts and number bibs for Birthday Run 2016 will be held on September 3 from 9am till 3.30pm at the Media Room, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium and at the Youth and Sports Department branches in the other three districts.

Birthday Run 2016 is organised by the Youth and Sports Department under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Athletics Federation in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 70th birthday.
