Fire and Rescue Puts Out Bushfire in Subok

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Bandar Seri Begawan Fire Station dispatched two fire engines to Jalan Subok yesterday in response to an emergency call about a three-hectare bushfire.

The response team made up of 10 Fire and Rescue personnel was supervised by ASFR Hanif bin Suboh and SO Hanapi bin Haji Hamid.

The fire was contained within 10 minutes and completely extinguished in an hour and 45 minutes.

It was believed that the fire was caused by the irresponsible act of burning a set of tyres.
